Job Description
We are searching for an experienced SEO Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Digital marketing, communications, or a related field. Must have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in a B2B IT setting. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant target keywords and phrases for website and blog content optimization.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structures to improve website and blog rankings on search engines.
- Link Building: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable websites, directories, and industry influencers.
- Guest Posting Opportunities: Identify and secure guest blogging opportunities through collaboration with relevant websites, building relationships, and expanding brand reach.
- Performance Monitoring: Use Google Analytics and other SEO tools to monitor and analyze website and blog performance. Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations to enhance SEO and organic traffic.
- Collaboration with Content Teams: Work closely with content creators and copywriters to optimize website and blog content for target keywords and user intent, improving overall visibility and engagement.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor websites and SEO strategies to identify areas for improvement and differentiation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, development, and design teams to implement SEO best practices and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Industry Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, tools, algorithm updates, and industry best practices. Proactively adjust strategies and share recommendations with the team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SEO/Digital Marketing are a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SEO or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trends.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, and other SEO platforms for keyword research, analysis, and strategy.
- On-Page Optimization: Hands-on experience with on-page SEO techniques, including optimizing meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
- Link Building: Familiarity with effective backlink strategies, link-building techniques, and guest posting outreach.
- Technical SEO: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development principles as they relate to SEO.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
