SUMMARY OF THE JOB

• RLD characterization
• Development of all new packaging materials for Central Asia, USA, EUROPE, Russia/CIS and Domestic market at SRC for new ophthalmics, Pre-filled syringes, Inhalations, Injections and commercial products.
• Preparation and procedures updation of SOP and STP
• Analysis of Packaging Materials at SRC & get done from outside Lab
• Identification, selection and development of suitable new sources of packaging material in coordination with other Dept. for the new products
• Ensure the availability of packaging material for lab trials, pilot batches, etc on time at the specified locations
• Arrange necessary documents from Vendor as and when required by Regulatory department.
• Compile regulatory requirement w.r.t packaging material for different countries and dosages for adherence of the same and update the SRC team on the same.
• Co-ordinate with vendors for development of packaging material for new products.
• Preparation of Review of Packaging Material Specifications periodically and recommend amendments if required as per the current requirements.
• Packaging of New Launch products.
• Preparation and Review of Product Packaging, Bill of Material and ensure the feasibility of product packaging as per the machinability.
• Implementation of regulatory related revisions in Packaging.
• Improvement in Packaging process at shop floor.
• Knowledge of Container closure integrity test, ink migration impact on product, product adsorption on container and other troubleshoots in R&D

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review of Packaging Material specifications
• Identification of Packaging material of products.
• Review of Artworks of respective countries
• Designing secondary packaging material.
• Coordinating internal as well as external customer for any revision of artworks.
• Coordination with PD scientist for development of packaging material for new products.
• Calculation of quantity of packaging material as per the batch size required at SRC for lab batches and required at plant for feasibility and pilot batches.
• Provide the required information to develop the artworks to RA and review the same.
• Coordination for approval of artworks from internal stakeholders by circulating artworks to them
• Review change controls for the implementation of the changes.
• Review of Specifications, Product packaging instruction & BOM.
• Responsible for system improvement, implementation of guideline of any market.
• Ensure the approval and effectiveness of PM Specifications, Product Packaging Instruction and PM BOM.
• Ensure the upload and certification of PM specification and PM BOM in ERP.
• Ensure the approval of Shade cards and Print proofs by CQA.
