Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to assign tasks, relay information, and manage priorities.
• Oversee feature timelines, bug tracking, and ensure project deliverables are met.
• Oversee the development of full-stack applications, making architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design and implement complex features using React.js (front-end) and Node.js (back-end), while integrating MongoDB for database management.
• Manage the design and architecture of RESTful APIs, as well as ensure clean, modular, and reusable code.
• Ensure team members are following best practices for writing clean, efficient, and secure code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Review and approve technical designs, code implementations, and test cases from team members.
• Actively participate in code reviews, helping to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
• Drive technical decision-making on tools, technologies, and frameworks, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and technical standards.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that development cycles are on track and aligned with company priorities.
• Guide team members in identifying and resolving technical challenges, helping them overcome roadblocks.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in technology, integrating new tools and methodologies to improve the teams efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or tech lead role.
• Strong expertise in React.js, Material-UI (MUI), Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and its best practices, along with experience building scalable applications.
• Strong experience in managing full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end components.
• Experience making architectural decisions and guiding teams in the technical aspects of a project.
• Proven ability to lead a development team, including mentoring junior developers and ensuring quality development processes.
• Strong experience with Git, version control workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management.
• Ability to balance technical leadership with managerial responsibilities, ensuring team cohesion and delivery of high-quality software.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Familiarity with bash scripting, PHP, and responsive design principles using CSS.
• Experience adhering to and enforcing strict code quality standards.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• A strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Knowledge of performance optimization for web applications.
