Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, user-friendly documentation and knowledge base (KB) articles that effectively communicate complex technical information. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and collaborate with the technical writing and training teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive content for various audiences, including internal employees, partners, and customers. Your responsibilities will include conducting interviews, analyzing, and synthesizing information, and creating user documentation and KB articles.

Key responsibilities:

As a self-starter, proactively acquire knowledge about the products to create user-centric documentation.
Conduct interviews with SMEs to gather information on specific topics.
Analyze and synthesize information from recorded sessions to create comprehensive and accurate content for documentation and knowledge base.
Create KB articles that are easy to understand and follow, with clear and concise language.
Continuously review and improve KB articles and documentation based on feedback from stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the documentation deliverables meet their needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in technical writing and knowledge management.
Experience with content management systems and tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, and other knowledge management platforms.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and Markdown.
Experience conducting interviews with SMEs and creating documentation.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
Adhere to the Microsoft style guide for content creation, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standards.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, as well as collaborate with stakeholders from different departments and levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet the delivery date.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is preferred.
Experience in video creation and editing is an added advantage.
