Senior Software Test Engineer

SIERA is the next generation reporting and analytics platform for LeadSquared. It is being built with cutting edge technology to handle petabytes of data in near real-time for millions of users. The project includes building our custom ETL solution which runs on Kubernetes, high performance APIs, responsive self-service UI portals, robust, secure data warehouse etc. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Test complex API, web-based applications. Designs, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value-added feedback. Works with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle. Reproduces, debugs and isolates problems and verifies fixes. Works closely with software developers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. Works in cross-functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment. Estimates own testing tasks and works productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude. Provides technical guidance and training to junior test personnel. Participates in the performance testing and analysis framework for a web services architecture and associated back-end application Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI Automation using Cypress/Playwright Must have an understanding and ability to develop code in JavaScript, and Java. Strong experience in API testing from Postman/RESTful is required. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems in large systems. Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests.Good to have: Experience in CRM Domain Experience in Reporting tools like Tableau or BI Knowledge and experience with Java/Python. Experience in BDD/Cucumber/ROBOT, Katalon Studio or equivalent test frameworks. Experience in load testing using a tool like Gatling, JMeter...etc. Experience with Docker and AWS (or any cloud). Experience with security testing Experience in DevOps and CI/CD related technologies.
