Senior Software Engineer - Java Development (4-8 yrs)

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, testing, debugging, developing, documenting, and maintaining our Automation application experience. Working with internal and external customers, the Senior Software Developer will manage the full lifecycle of their assigned development projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- Assists with design, development, testing and deployment of development solutions that adhere to department standards and best practices.

- Research and document business needs and convert them to technical specifications.

- Collaborate with peer teams to establish and/or enhance system integrations.

- Participates in the debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting of solutions.

- Work with manager/project lead to review tasks and establish estimates.

- Assist in developing data quality processes and data integrations between business systems.

- Take initiative to learn new developing technology.

- Demonstrate flexibility and innovation to meet the demands of an ever-changing environment.

Other duties as assigned :

REQUIREMENTS :

- 4 years of hands-on experience to join our product-based industry team.

The ideal candidate :

will possess the following technical expertise :

- Java : Proficient in Multithreading, Stream API, Collections, Object-Oriented

- Programming (OOPS), and Design Patterns.

- Spring Boot & Micro Services: Demonstrated experience in building and deploying scalable applications.

- Web Services : Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful services.

- Database Management: Strong knowledge of JDBC, Hibernate, and experience with

- Oracle/Postgres databases.

- Messaging: Proficiency in Kafka messaging systems.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with distributed system design.

- AWS cloud knowledge.

- Strong logical and organizational skills

- Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues.

- A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision.

- Ability to multi-task continuously

- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.

- Must be a quick learner of new technologies and adaptable to change.
