Role Overview.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take on a leveraging your extensive experience to drive the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems.

You'll provide mentorship to junior team members, lead projects from conception to completion, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities.

Hands-on experience in leading teams and effectively managing team members to achieve objectives..

Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs to support various applications and business requirements..

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions..

Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and scalability to ensure the reliability and efficiency of backend systems..

Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing phases, and implement timely solutions..

Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends in backend development, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance and architecture..

Requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field..

Proven 4+ experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of backend development concepts and principles..

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js, along with experience with backend frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or Express.js..

Solid understanding of database management systems, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)..

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus..

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team..

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders..
