Job Description

As Compliance Security Domain Manger, you will focus on the due diligence, assessment, risk analysis, threat analysis, design reviews and on-going assurance activities pertaining to GSK s capabilities when accessing, processing, storing or transmitting sensitive data. You will also ensure that high quality technical information is performed for new projects and periodically re-performed for existing systems services as required.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Ensure that all new projects, third party services and changes to existing systems are supported by the necessary level of technical information security expertise
- Create Risk Assessment documentation to outline mitigation plans and residual risk for acceptance by the business
- Establish and gain agreement for security design processes and approaches to be used and ensure that security design and analysis work is consistent in its scope and the high quality by which it is performed
- Ensure that proposed security solutions are consistent with GSK s values and business goals
- Engage with technical experts within the company across IT, legal, HR, compliance, etc. to build a network
- Negotiate information security solutions and proposals to business leaders
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental standards, templates, tools, and processes
- Participate in activities pertaining to service reviews, metrics gathering and reporting, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Why you
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor s Degree
- Information Security Certification (CISM, CISSP, or equivalent)
- Experience as information security consultant
- Experience in assessment of technical controls
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Master s in Information Security or related field
- Subject Matter Expert in Security in at least one of the following domains: Networks, Platforms, Applications, Control Systems, Cloud, Identity and Access Management, Cryptography, Privileged Access, Vendor Management, or Risk Management
