Senior Research Associate/Scientist

Role & responsibilities

a) Pre-treatment of biomass for extraction of fermentable sugars

b) SIP/CIP of Fermenters including lab scale (5 L & 20 L) and pilot scale fermenters (300 L & above)

c) Operations and execution of Microbial fermentation batches

d) Harvesting and post upstream processes for product recovery

Requirements:

Preferred 2+ years of experience in microbial fermentation

Freshers can apply too

Graduation from M.Tech Biotechnology/Bioprocess Technology, M.Sc. Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology etc.

Desired Profile of the candidate:

The candidate should have strong knowledge and skills in the microbial fermentation field (upstream process development) including the desire to work in shifts.
