Senior Quality Engineer

‒ Understanding Business Requirements and Functional Specifications and develop a functional knowledge of the application.

‒ Creation of Test Cases Scenarios and test management using Azure DevOps/JIRA/ALM.

‒ Coordinate with business to ensure user expectations and quality standards are met.

‒ Implement and monitor automated frameworks to assess functionality, regression, performance and quality of the product/application.

‒ Experience in independently writing and managing automation test suite for the application.

‒ Have a strong grasp on functional understanding of the application and able to recommend automation and process improvements in current process to stabilize releases.

Key Requirements:

‒ 8-11 years of experience in testing, automation and framework design

‒ Experience in testing Web, API, REST and desktop applications

‒ Participation in test automation plans/strategies to deliver end to end solutions

‒ Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, defects and root cause analysis for customer bugs

‒ Identifying areas of improvement & implementing to improve the process

‒ Deep hands-on technical expertise in all QA practices and processes

‒ Hands-on knowledge on Selenium BDD Automation Script Development

‒ Exposure on performance tools like JMeter (Good to have)

‒ Exposure to the concepts around API Automation tools like REST Assured

‒ Excellent Communication skills

‒ Product Life Cycle knowledge, Agile and SDLC methodologies

‒ Proactive and Team Oriented approach

‒ Strong verbal as well as written communication skills

‒ Self-motivated and self-driven to work against tight timelines

‒ Team player & have the ability to multi-task based on project needs

‒ Experience adhering to an Agile development environment and iterative sprint cycle.
