Deputy Manager/Manager/Senior Manager - Product Planning

• Technology Planning in Automotive Industry

Responsibilities :-

• Prepare proposals for long term technology planning
• Study Trends and forecast in the area of Technology

advancements and identify the Key changes that will affect

consumer buying behavior in future

• Study New Technology proposal with in depth understanding

of Regulatory Environment, Competition, Customer and

Company current and future situation.

• Prepare strategy explanation reports/Presentations for

management review.

• Coordination with overseas Technology team and MSIL

Department/Divisions for new proposal conceptualization &

feature finalization.

• Identify product feedback from Market Research for existing

& new product/ technology and incorporate feedback in new

products.

• Scenario Planning & Business case preparation on various

new Technology requirements.

• Report preparation / Analysis of newly launched & refreshed

products.

• Tracking current and future competition product and Market

Intelligence related activities and preparing reports for

management.

Competency Requirements :-

• Good Presentation skill & In depth knowledge of MS Word,

Excel, PowerPoint

• Understanding of Indian Consumers
• Knowledge of New Technology trends in the automotive

domain globally in terms of Powertrain, Safety, Connected

etc.

• Know-how of model development process.
• Strong Presentation, Communications and Interpersonal

skills.

• Time Management
