DMI Finance - Senior Product Manager - MSME Segment - Secured LAP (5-10 yrs)

Product Manager is responsible for developing, enhancing & managing the digital lending platform and product based programs for the MSME business in line with the requirements of market, partners and other sources of leads including direct sourcing along with ownership of the profitability of the products.

Product Management:

- Define the roadmap for the MSME secured product/s (Loan against Property (LAP), Equipment, Plant and Machinery (EPM) loans, fee based, third party products, etc.), their features, customer benefits and manage the product development lifecycle along with its P&L.

- Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of platform/application features and enhancements, workflows, user journeys, external communication and product training with a focus on creating differentiated offerings via partners, co-lenders and direct to customer model.

- Understand the requirements of customized integrations and other aspects of onboarding partners, users and borrowers and prepare the business requirement document for each project.

- Track progress/performance of the product/platform at all levels from lead generation to disbursal, partner/customer service support, based on defined metrics and against benchmarks.

- Proactively seek and analyze partner/user feedback and platform data to continuously improve the performance and usability of digital products.

- Contribute to the development of the borrower self-service application (mob/web), MSME webpage content and other digital assets.

- Keep abreast of regulatory, legal and statutory policies and developments and ensure that the product and platform are always compliant

- Own the compilation and upkeep of product documentation and process notes.

- Define the collateral management process and own the functionality.

- Work closely with operations, credit, compliance and enterprise risk management teams to monitor, identify and mitigate risks arising in the delivery of digital / physical products and services.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal teams to define and prioritize business/product/technology requirements for partner onboarding and integration as well as for implementing changes to the product/platform

- Act as a bridge between partner/internal sales and project/technology teams ensuring clear communication of requirements.

Product Analytics / Research:

- Form and test hypothesis using data from in-built analytics, funnels, database & other sources.

- Conduct market research and develop insights into user behavior especially around user needs to improve existing products.

- Track product adoption, funnel conversions, A/B tests and optimize them to achieve business and product objectives.

Market Research & Competition Analysis:

- Track market and technological developments and benchmark company's offerings with competition and continuously identify growth opportunities.

- Conduct research on fintech and other competitive developments in the ecosystem in India or global.

- Ideate basis the research on new functionalities / products to be built.

Learning and growth:

- Stay abreast of market, industry and technological developments

- Ensure continuous acquisition of new skills and know-how necessary for peak performance in the role

- Ability to understand and translate customer/partner/user needs into journey/designs/wireframes

- Well versed with Wire framing, BRD, PRD and feature detailing

- Comfortable with Tech Stack/Understanding of API Architecture

- Ability to manage performance and deliver projects under stringent timelines

a) Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification required: MBA from a Premier Educational Institution (Indian/Global)

Technical/Engineering/Science undergraduate degree from a Premier Educational Institution (Indian/Global)

Work Experience:

5 to 10 years of experience in digital lending product management for MSME - secured loans with a Bank/NBFC/Lending tech organization
