Senior Executive : Engineering purchase

Role & responsibilities

1. Receiving the Purchase Requisitions from cencerned departments,
2. Getting the necessary information & clarifications from end users against the purchase requisitions,
3. Forwarding the enquiries to approved / new vendors for quotations after reviewing the previous procurement,
4. Preparation of the comparison statement in all aspects i.e, Technical, commercial and other terms & conditions,
5. Negotiation with the vendors
6. Approval process with HODs (Purchase & Engineering),
7. Generating the purchase orders
8. Forwarding the purchase orders to vendors and necessary material follow-up
9. Co-ordination with stores for MRR’s (Material receipt reports),
10. Monitoring the approval /rejection of the material with concerned end users,
11. In case of rejections, intimating the vendors with reasons of rejections and arranging the replacements,
12. Co-ordination with Accounts department for bill bookings and vendor payment.
