Purchase-Sr. Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Should have clear knowledge of Purchasing buyer activity
• Having Sound knowledge of Souring for potential vendors
• Identification for commodity basis ( Mech,Elec)
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Should have knowledge of factors contributing to the cost of the parts. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Should have clear understanding of management as per business requirement
• Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives including strategic buying contracts with the key component suppliers
• Montioring the Supplier Performance in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.
• Gather data from market to enable completion benchmarking of cost.( Market price info, Supplier Risk management )
• SAP Activity: Material Master, Info record, Price approval, PR ,PO, MIGO,MIRO
• Should have clear understanding procure to Pay(P2P) Process and Supplier Management
