Job Description
- Should be able to propose the conceptual design for functional requirement of the equipment in a cost
effective manner - Should be able to provide automation architecture for the validated concept Electrical drawing creation
- Creation of Electrical schematic using SEE Electric/EPlan/AutoCAD Electrical software as per Standards.
Part list and Cable list generation
- Generation of terminal, Cable and cabinet layout details.
- Should be able to do quality check on drawings.
Electrical Calculation & Component selection
- Should be able to make power calculation for Main disconnector switch, transformer, Circuit breakers & cabinet thermal calculation.
- Should be able to select Drive models for motor ratings
- Should be able to select safety devices according to the required safety Pl level.
Commercial parts Knowledge
- Should be aware of Power, control components & drives used in control cabinets.
- Must have knowledge on various field components like Sensors, safety switches.
- Basic knowledge on pneumatic & hydraulic components.
Software Knowledge
- SEE Electric Expert/EPlan/AutoCAD Electrical - Should have complete knowledge on all the Functionalities of software like (schematic preparation generation, Layout design, TB & cable generation)
- Team Center (PLM Software) working knowledge. (Document creation, Check in/Out, Revision, Releasing,
Project And Team management for rights etc.) - Basic knowledge on Rockwell PLC & HMI programing software
- Basic exposure in Microsoft office tools & Collaborative tools
Work Experience
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience.
