The AI, Systems, and Technology (AIST) team drives transformative changes through Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions for our Customer Support Services (CSS) organization with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness & AI responsibility while encouraging Human in Loop. Our team consists of Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Systems Engineers, and Software Engineers and provides many opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and individual growth.
We are looking for a Principal Machine Learning Data Scientist to develop and implement our machine learning algorithms, train sophisticated models, collaborate with our technical and non-technical partner teams, to ultimately expand our AI/ML functionality in partnership with our CSS and/or Sales organization. A successful candidate will have strong business instincts, be comfortable communication with executive stakeholders, have expertise in NLP/LLMs, experience partnering with cross-functional teams, and a passion for peer mentorship.
","qualifications":" On the first day, well expect you to have
5+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields
Expertise in applying a broad variety of ML methods including NLP and LLM to solve business problems using large amounts of data
Proven track record of delivering ML projects end-to-end, including designing, development, deployment and monitoring
Ability to communicate and explain data science concepts to diverse audiences, craft a compelling story
Expertise in programming languages such as Python or Java with and the ability to write performant code, familiarity with SQL, knowledge of Spark and cloud data environments (e.g. AWS, Databricks)
Agile development mindset, appreciating the benefit of constant iteration and improvement
Its great, but not required, if you have
7+ years experience with a post-graduate degree in a quantitative discipline
Experience working in a consumer or B2C space and/or domain knowledge of customer support and/or sales including it s challenges and dynamics
Comfort in solving complex problems in ambiguous spaces
