Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.
• Build and maintain robust data models to support analytics and business intelligence needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, implementing improvements for better performance and reliability.
• Optimize Snowflake databases for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and document best practices for data engineering processes.
• Work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure the availability of accurate and timely data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.
• Proficiency in designing and managing ETL/ELT workflows.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and Snowflake database architecture.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation tools like DBT.
• Familiarity with data pipeline automation tools like Fivetran.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Exposure to machine learning and AI frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
