Senior Consultant/Manager - SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)

Job Purpose

To lead and manage SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) projects, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and the delivery of efficient, business-oriented solutions. This role requires expertise in SAP SD implementation, configuration, and optimization, contributing to overall business process improvements and effective client solutions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP SD Consultant/Manager with 9 to 13 years of experience to lead SAP SD implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support for our clients. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in the SAP SD module and its integration with other SAP modules, with the ability to drive projects from conception through to successful deployment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage SAP SD implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment of the system.
2. Coordinate and drive efforts for the design and configuration of the SAP SD module, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.
3. Oversee and support end-to-end SD process flows, including order-to-cash (OTC) cycle, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP SD configuration.
5. Integrate SAP SD with other modules such as SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP WM, and SAP CRM to optimize business processes.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the SAP SD module to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
7. Lead testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, ensuring the solution is robust and meets client requirements.
8. Provide training and support to business users and internal teams, ensuring effective use of SAP SD functionality.
9. Develop and maintain relevant project documentation, including functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
10. Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues identified during the stabilization phase.
11. Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure they adhere to SAP best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 9 to 13 years in SAP SD with hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, and support.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of the SAP SD module, including integration with other modules (MM, FICO, WM, and CRM).
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and traditional SAP ECC environments.
• Experience with advanced SAP SD features like SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP S/4HANA Sales functionalities is a plus.
• Strong experience in order-to-cash (OTC) process flows, pricing, billing, and credit management.
• Familiarity with SAP SD reporting tools and customizing reports as per business requirements.
• Functional Skills:
• Strong understanding of business processes within sales and distribution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and guide teams, manage client relationships, and deliver on project timelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
