Senior Consultant - Building Energy & Carbon

Role description:

How can new and refurbished building and developments move towards Net Zero Carbon? How should Net Zero Carbon be defined? Energy from buildings is a key battleground to meet carbon commitments.

We are looking for an experienced Building Energy Consultant to join our growing Energy Transformation team, working for a range of clients from public sector to large national investors. This role will work closely with property owners and leaseholders looking to improve the sustainable performance of their buildings and portfolios. We are looking for practical experience to technically support clients on their Net Zero Carbon journey.

The wider Sustainability Advisory team offers an array of services to our clients from strategic ESG support through to carbon foot printing, renewable technologies, climate adaptation and corporate sustainability strategies.

Requirements

This role will provide specialist building, energy and carbon services for a broad range for public and private sector clients We are looking for a strong grounding in building operation, services, building physics, energy analytics and low and zero carbon energy generation technologies alongside a passion to help clients deliver their Net Zero ambitions. You will play an integral role in supporting clients in technical strategic decision making for new and existing building estates. Key requirements of the role will involve:
