Senior Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to design and execute test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Write and maintain clean, reusable code for test automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and report bugs/issues efficiently.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in software development and/or test automation (preferably in Java).
• Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium,)
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with API Automation such as Rest Assured is must.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
