Senior Associate, Alternative Investment Specialist

What You Will Get To Do:

• Client interaction
• Communicate with clients in a proactive & professional manner
• Monitoring, retrieving, processing, reporting alternative investment data
• Project involvement for onboarding of new clients
• Working with various systems across the SS&C landscape
• Identify potential problems

What You Will Bring:

• Responsible for the review and processing of complex alternative investments. Career level professional leading small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative. Demonstrates specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions. Recommends new procedures. Minimally requires a Masters degree and 1 years of related experience, Bachelors degree and 3 years of related experience, or high school degree and 5 years of related experience.

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
• Experience/knowledge in alternative investments, with a focus on private equity and hedge funds
• The ideal candidate should be highly motivated; a self-starter who can meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Excel knowledge (Pivot Table, Sumif, V-lookup)
• Analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex alternative investment data
• Tech savvy, ability to quickly learn new technology
• Team player mentality with ability to partner with various departments and levels
• 1-3 years working experience in financial services
