Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Associate in Strategy Retention Marketing for EarnKaro. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in retention marketing, with proven expertise in driving customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth through data-driven strategies and marketing automation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retention Strategy Development:
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute retention marketing strategies that align with EarnKaro s business objectives.
2. Lifecycle Marketing:
Plan and implement lifecycle campaigns targeting key customer segments, ensuring improved retention rates and CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value).
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product, design, content, and analytics teams to design, execute, and optimize retention campaigns.
4. Campaign Execution:
Lead the end-to-end execution of retention campaigns, including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging, ensuring seamless delivery and impactful results.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making:
Leverage data to segment users, identify drop-off points, and create targeted retention initiatives. Continuously analyze campaign performance and refine strategies for improvement.
6. Tool Technology Management:
Own the marketing automation tools (e.g., Clevertap), ensuring the best practices for audience engagement.
7. Customer Insights:
Gather and analyze user feedback, behavioral data, and campaign performance metrics to design retention programs that address pain points and drive loyalty.
8. Performance Reporting:
Define and track retention KPIs (e.g., retention, reactivation rate etc.) to monitor campaign effectiveness and present insights to stakeholders.
9. Problem Solving:
Identify bottlenecks in user retention processes and propose innovative solutions to optimize user engagement.
10. A/B Testing:
Execute regular A/B tests to determine the most effective messaging, formats, and channels for retention campaigns.
Must-Have Skills:
1. Proven Expertise in Retention Marketing
a. 2-4 years of experience in retention/lifecycle marketing, preferably in a B2C or social commerce/ e-commerce environment.
b. Demonstrated success in reducing churn and increasing user engagement and loyalty through retention campaigns.
c. Ability to share examples of campaigns or programs that drove measurable results (e.g., increased retention rate, improved repeat reseller cohort).
2. Data-Driven Decision Making
a. Strong analytical skills to interpret customer behavior and campaign performance.
b. Proficiency in using tools like Clevertap, MoEngage, or similar platforms for segmentation and tracking campaign success.
3. Customer-Centric Mindset
a. A strong focus on understanding user needs and pain points, ensuring campaigns address real customer challenges.
4. Marketing Automation Expertise
a. Hands-on experience managing marketing automation platforms like Clevertap, MoEngage, or WebEngage.
b. Familiarity with setting up workflows, triggered communications, and behavioral messaging.
c. Ability to provide examples of automation journeys implemented for lifecycle marketing.
5. Strong Communication Skills
a. Proven ability to write clear, impactful campaign briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
6. A/B Testing Experimentation
a. Experience designing and executing A/B tests to optimize retention campaigns.
b. Ability to explain how testing insights informed future campaigns.
Good-to-Have Skills:
1. Product Collaboration Acumen:
a. Experience collaborating with product teams on features designed to boost user retention (e.g., loyalty programs, referral features).
2. Creative Thinking:
a. Ability to conceptualize unique campaign ideas that stand out and drive user retention.
