Senior Associate -Financial Modelling

Acuity is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Investment Banking team based in Gurgaon, and will be responsible for handling projects, including preparing detailed financial models, conducting company and industry research, trading and transaction comps, and writing reports across sectors. The candidate will be in direct interaction with the client and responsible for final delivery of projects.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes
• Build and refine detailed financial models to analyse potential investments, fund raising models, merger models, etc
• Conduct valuations using various methodologies such as DCF, LBO, Comparable company analysis, SOTP, replacement cost. Prepare sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities under different scenarios

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA/ CFA/ CA
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial modelling
• Leading and delivering projects, including:
• Financial models including DCF, merger, LBO, credit etc. for different industries
• Bespoke quantitative projects like model audits/edits and quick valuation analysis, etc.
• Industry studies/ sector reports, market sizing
• Deals specific documents and presentations including discussion paper, transaction paper, investment memos
• Trading and Transaction comps
• Benchmarking, Ratio analysis
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in client handling
• Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of database such as CapitalIQ, FactSet, Bloomberg, Thomson, etc.
