The Quality Advisor works closely and reports to the Associate Quality Excellence (India). This person will be key in implementation of surveillance and monitoring programmes across our projects to ensure a robust and compliant quality culture is in place that aligns to our BMS and Way of Working. This person will also ensure quality compliance and liaise with Project teams where required, closely work with the Associate Quality Excellence (India) to provide source support and guidance to our Project Leaders, Quality leads, and their teams deliver an effective quality management framework across their project programmes.
Responsibilities
Ensure that our people follow our way of working, the requirements of the Project Life Cycle (PLC) and Business Management System (BMS)
Support and promote our quality management system (QMS)
Perform online scheduled quality audits and reviews across all projects and undertake surveillances as required, including reports.
Use quality management tools and techniques to promote continual improvement and quality awareness
Predict quality performance using trends and reports, lead actions to address risk elsewhere in the business
Provide quality management support and assistance, working closely with the project teams
Provide inputs to our quality statistical tracking and trending data, provide weekly and monthly reports.
Advises the projects on suitable quality objectives, KPIs and targets in line with WSP and client quality requirements, report for any deviations noted.
Following a risk-based approach, assist in the preparation of the quality audit schedule, ensuring compliance and identify any gaps and/or improvements
Report audit findings with recommendations for correction, corrective and improvement to the management
Participate in management meetings providing insight into the key areas of risks and opportunities
Reviews, collates, and communicates all quality reports from Projects, prepares countries overall KPI reporting and sends to Quality Excellence Team Leader for senior level reporting.
Monitor quality trends, conducts analysis, and provides reporting as may be required.
Reviews and ensures follow-up of any quality related complaints or concerns.
Expertise
Overall 7 to 9 years’ experience, 2 years minimum with an international design or construction consultancy. (preferably Middle East)
Formal training in an ISO 9001:2015 related course
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering and/or Construction related discipline
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in English
Experience of operational auditing
Basic knowledge of database computer systems and software including Microsoft word, excel, visio and SharePoint.
Flexible approach to managing, prioritising and delivering to deadlines in a demanding environment
Experience of documentation processes within an engineering, design, or construction environment
Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
