Job Description

We are looking for someone that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.

Mission: We are looking for a Senior Accountant to empower SMEs with precise financial insights and proactive support, while fostering digital transitions and championing compliance and growth for lasting client success.

Outcomes:

Deliver timely, accurate financial statements, management reports, and tax filings for a portfolio of UK-based SME clients, ensuring compliance with UK standards.
Complete VAT returns, corporation tax filings, and other statutory submissions accurately, adapting to new UK tax regulations as they arise.
Manage client bookkeeping and monthly closing tasks (eg, reconciliations, variance analysis) using cloud-based systems like Xero and QuickBooks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Strengthen client relationships through proactive support, especially for clients transitioning to cloud accounting, and enhance their confidence in digital tools.
Lead, mentor, and support junior accountants, focusing on performance, resolving daily challenges, and fostering continuous improvement in team processes and client service quality.
