Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities :

• Perform detailed ledger scrutiny to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in providing documentation and schedules for internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Analyze variances between budgets and actuals to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure proper classification of goods and services with applicable tax rates.
• Reconcile GSTR-2B/2A with input tax credit (ITC) claimed.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) on time.
• Verify the correct application of TDS rates as per Income Tax provisions.
• Prepare documentation for income tax assessments and respond to notices from the tax department.
• Assist in preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports for business insights.
• Maintain proper records for financial transactions, GST filings, TDS filings, and tax-related matters.
