Job Description

About Us: iConsultera is a leading firm dedicated to providing exceptional financial and accounting services. We are currently seeking a skilled US Accountant with experience using Yardi Software to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in accounting, particularly in the real estate or property management sectors, and are proficient with Yardi, we want to hear from you.

Roles Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and supported with proper documentation.

Yardi Software Management: Utilize Yardi software for accounting tasks, including property management, rent collections, vendor payments, and financial reporting. Optimize and troubleshoot Yardi functionalities as needed.

Month-End and Year-End Closings: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support financial planning and decision-making.

Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the US, preferably within the real estate or property management sectors.

Yardi Proficiency: Strong experience with Yardi Software is required, including a deep understanding of its accounting and property management modules.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. Experience with other accounting systems is a plus.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
