Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (AS) and Ind AS requirements.
  
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, TDS returns, GST returns, CST returns, and other tax-related matters.
  
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of transactions in SAP.
  
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures to team members.

• Preparation of Fund Request documents
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
• Budgeting: Participate in budgeting processes and develop financial plans.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with laws and regulations.
• Audit Coordination: Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and trends.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit taxes and tax returns.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain financial controls and procedure

qualifications preferred

• Masters Degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years experience in general or tax accounting
• Experience with computerized ledger systems
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with SAP is highly preferable
