Technical Project Manager

to join our product development team. As a key member of our product company, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions. Your ability to manage technical details while driving projects forward will be essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Define product release scope in collaboration with product owners, engineering leads, and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project status, deliverables, and risks.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met.

• Risk Management & Problem Solving:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address any issues or obstacles that may impede project progress.
• Escalate critical issues as needed to senior leadership and provide actionable solutions.

• Project Delivery & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure high-quality standards are met by working with the QA team to define testing criteria, conduct reviews, and ensure defects are identified and addressed.
• Oversee the release management process and work with the team to ensure smooth product rollouts.

• Stakeholder Reporting & Communication:
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including executives, ensuring they are informed about project timelines, progress, and risks.
• Manage project documentation, including timelines, budgets, meeting notes, and status reports.

• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify areas of improvement within project management processes and suggest solutions for better team efficiency and delivery.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related field. PMP, or similar project management certification is a plus.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar technical lead role, preferably in a product-based company. Overall 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), software development life cycles (SDLC), and software release management.

• Technical Skills:
• Understanding of software development processes and technical concepts, including APIs, databases, cloud services, and front-end/back-end technologies.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Clickhelp) and version control tools (e.g., Git, TFS).

• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.
