Kotlin Backend Developer - Java/Spring/RESTful Webservices (4-8 yrs)

Role : Kotlin Backend Developer - kotlin /Spring/Restful web services

Required Technical Skill Set :

- Working experience in Kotlin, RESTful Webservices, Spring, and microservices

- Excellent knowledge in designing/building RESTful APIs

- Working experience writing JUnit test cases (or Kotest/KotlinTest)

- Working experience in CI/CD

- Complete understanding of web services and the Spring framework (Spring Boot)

- Experience in using SonarQube

- Experience using Jira/agile tools, SVN or Git

- Experience in delivering projects in agile methodology

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :

Must-Have :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin, Java, Groovy, RESTful Webservices, Spring & microservices

- Excellent knowledge in designing/building RESTful APIs

- Strong SQL knowledge

- Working experience in CI/CD

- Working experience in Code Quality tools (i.e., SonarQube)

- Experience in using Jenkins

- Experience using Jira/agile tools, Git, IntelliJ

- Very good analytical skills

- Attitude to learn new things quickly

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in delivering projects in agile methodology

- Good to have experience in developing microservices in an omni-channel environment

- Expert knowledge of multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility (IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) on Mac, PC, tablets, and mobile devices.

- Strong experience with SQL and relational DB.

Good-to-Have :

- Good understanding of web-services, Spring framework

- Experience in using SONAR Cube, Maven

- Kafka, Elastic search

- Experience using Jira/agile tools, SVN or Git
