Sedin - Senior Shopify Developer (1-2 yrs)

Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Shopify Developer at Sedin Technologies (Bengaluru or Chennai).

The Shopify Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to Shopify development, customization, and optimization.

The role is based in Chennai, with the flexibility for some work from home.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates using Liquid.

- Build and maintain Shopify apps using Shopify App development, Shopify Functions, and Checkout UI Extensions.

- Implement Shopify Plus features and utilize the Shopify Storefront API.

- Work with Shopify 2.0 themes and the Shopify CLI.

- Integrate Shopify with other systems using RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

- Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS (and preprocessors like Sass/Less), and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).

- Utilize JavaScript, jQuery, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) for interactive elements and dynamic functionality.

- Optimize website performance, debug and troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices.

- Implement SEO best practices and ensure website accessibility (ADA compliance).

- Conduct testing, including A/B testing.

- Use Git and GitHub for version control.

- Utilize project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and communication tools (Slack).

Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

- Deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including Liquid, theme development, Shopify Plus, Storefront API, App development, Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopify 2.0, and Shopify CLI.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS (and preprocessors like Sass/Less), and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).

- Strong JavaScript, jQuery, and JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular) skills.

- Experience with API integrations (RESTful and GraphQL).

- Knowledge of performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Understanding of security best practices, SEO best practices, and website accessibility (ADA).

- Experience with version control (Git and GitHub).

- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, etc.) and communication tools (Slack).

Optional Skills :

- Headless Commerce Experience
