SecurityHQ is a global organization providing managed detection and response (MDR) services to its global customers by monitoring their IT infrastructure for cyber security attacks.

The Manager will play a crucial role in the Global Sales & Pre-sales function, driving new business development by meeting potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing relevant solutions.

Responsibilities


  • Identify opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Lead and manage a sales team, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues and providing timely solutions.

Essential Skills


  • Proven track record in sales management within a complex business environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet ambitious targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently.

Preferred Skills


  • Experience in the IT Managed Services or Security Services industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of security controls like SIEM, EDR, XDR, and Threat Intelligence.
  • Previous experience with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP).

Education Requirements


  • Educational qualification: Bachelors degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or management are a plus.
