Senior React Developer

The Team: iLEVEL private markets is part of the larger MI Enterprise Solutions technology team, composed of over 100+ engineers operating out of the USA (United States of America), Europe, and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with focus on quality and high performance.

The Impact: iLEVEL is a key application of the Enterprise Solutions toolset set built with cloud native technologies (AWS), responsive React front ends and C# microservices to collect, calculate at high capacity and visualize private market investments. These components are distributed through a modern, fully automated CI/CD pipeline to serve a high availability toolset to customers around the globe. You will be contributing to the growth of the application and organization.

We are looking for a seasoned front end React developer to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge front-end solutions. The ideal candidate must be proficient in front end development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, UI components with React and Typescript

• Work closely with product specialists and developers to build key constructs which enhance and support the platform
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Participate in daily standup meetings

What We re Looking For:

Your expertise

• Strong IT educational background to degree level or equivalent. Must have professional experience of working as part of a team on product-focused software projects, including experience in complex software design, documentation, and implementation.
• 7+ years professional experience in developing intuitive, state of the art accessible user interfaces using React, Redux and associated libraries. Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of React and Redux
• Strong proficiency in developing apps using modern JavaScript, TypeScript , Web Components, HTML5 and CSS.
• Strong understanding of MFE Architecture and creating SPA applications in React.
• A clean coder, experienced in applying patterns and structuring applications to maintain readability and maintainability.
• Strong test automation development skills ensuring applications are built and delivered with quality unit and integration tests.
• Experience in securely integrating with REST API s and GraphQL.
• Demonstrable experience in producing accessible applications meeting the highest accessibility standards
• Experience with React toolchains such as Create React App

Bonus if you also have

• Experience working with SQL, .NET/C#
• Cloud based platforms, especially AWS
• Knowledge of microservices
• Experience in configuring application build scripts for development and production using node, npm, webpack/rollup
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience of working in an Agile Development environment and maintaining high standards through code reviews.
• Able to work with product and UX teams to translate UI designs into working solutions
• Software design fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and performance analysis.
