The Impact: This role is essential for the Market Intelligence Division of S&P to drive innovation and the deployment of cutting-edge technology to both enhance existing functions and power new opportunities. S&P has an ambitious and compelling Ai strategy that you would be directly enabling.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team developing and maintaining data-driven applications on the front and back end with an emphasis on Data Science, Ai, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and help in translating them into technical specifications for effective software solutions.
Project estimation and feasibility assessment
Architectural design and code reviews
Adhere to best practices in data management and governance, maintaining awareness of data privacy and security policies.
Contribute to the identification, design, and implementation of process improvements.
Understanding what best in class looks like and how to stay on top.
What we re looking for:
Bachelors/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
10 + years experience in data-driven software engineering as an individual contributor and manager
Strong hands- on experience in at least 2 of these technologies .NET, Java, Python or Scala.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and ETL tools
Prior experience in working in AWS or GCP cloud native services.
A commitment to test-driven development.
Devops competence around things like Github Actions, continuous delivery, and automated testing
Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and exploration
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
