Full Stack Developer Lead

You will be a Full stack software lead and part of the S&P Global Rating Core Services Engineering Team. This team has a broad and expert knowledge on delivering Ratings content to our customers. The team has a diverse experience in technology stacks and architectural patterns, fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration that results in a unified strategy. You will be a part of a unique opportunity to build and evolve S&P Ratings next generation user experience.

The Impact: What s in it for you: S&P Global Ratings is looking for an Engineer to join the Core Services Engineering team within Ratings Technology, a team of technology professionals who define and execute the Core Services roadmap for S&P Global Ratings. The successful candidate will participate in the design and build of S&P Ratings cloud based Ratings client facing portals.

What We re Looking For:

• 10+ years full stack development experience in modern web technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript and related front-end technologies. (70~80%)
• Proficiency in Java, Spring boot, Database and related back-end technologies. (20~30%)
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, Webpack etc
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Good debugging and Problem-solving skills.
• Experience in writing any unit testcase framework.
• Knowledge in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, waterfall.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering.

• Contribute to and support S&P enterprise architecture, standards, transformation from current state to future state.
• Develop agile practices with continuous development, continuous integration & deployments, cloud enablement.
• Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems\ configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs.
