- We are seeking a highly experienced Segment Sales Manager to join our team and drive the industrial sales segment for lubricants.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Industry Focus:
- Handle the Industrial Sales segment for lubricants, focusing on the following industries:
- Energy: Gas Engine Oils, Wind, Turbine Oils, Heat Transfer Oils
- Cement: Cement Industry Exposure
- Chemical: Petrochemicals, Compressor Oils
- Textile: Channel Business, Knitting Industry (Secondary focus on Weaving, Processing, Coning)
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans for industrial sales.
- Drive the business with direct responsibility and achieve sales targets and performance metrics.
Client Relationships:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- Secure endorsements and approvals for our products from IOEM of the segment.
Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the focused segments.
- Grow the knitting oil business and develop inroads in other sub-segments of textile (Weaving, Processing, Coning).
- Focus on business development to grow white oil and specialty lubes business with refineries, petrochemical plants, pharma ingredients, and other chemical industries.
Market Strategy:
- Develop and implement route-to-market plans (Distribution) for gaining market share in the textile segment.
- Participate in conventional energy lube opportunities and develop specialty lubes business with renewable and gas energy segment customers/OEMs & service providers.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- 8-15 years of experience in Sales/Business Development in Industrial Sales.
- B2B sales management experience of a minimum of 8 years.
- Proven experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders and delivering sales targets.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to develop and implement strategic & tactical business plans.
- Hands-on approach and direct responsibility in driving the business.
- Flexibility to respond to changing market environments and dynamic business situations.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of lubricants and relevant segment markets.
