Business Analyst (Financial Applications)

Reporting to: Manager, Financial Applications

Overview:

The Business Analyst (BA) will support and enhance financial applications (OneStream, Concur, D365) by working with business clients, service groups, and stakeholders. The BA will help implement new features and improve existing ones, focusing on both user and technical aspects of these applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and enhance financial applications (OneStream, Concur, D365).

- Define business requirements and configure applications.

- Document functional support procedures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.

- Participate in the full Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC): planning, design, testing, and implementation.

- Analyze business needs and work with stakeholders to validate requirements.

- Manage small to medium-sized solutions and enhancements.

- Collaborate with support teams to ensure proper system implementation.

- Contribute to the technology roadmap for financial applications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (Finance or IT preferred).

- 3+ years of experience in financial application support.

- Strong understanding of corporate finance and ERP systems.

- Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and processes.

- Experience with process engineering and SQL queries.

- Strong problem-solving, data analytics, and Excel skills.

- Experience with SDLC, creating specifications, and system documentation.

- Ability to gather business requirements and improve application functionality.

- Experience working in a multi-client environment.

- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Skills:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in working with external vendors and consultants.
