Job Description
- Be responsible for assisting with the MECM platform and escalations from Seagate Global Service Desk or Local IT support team members.
- Execute and maintain best practices for desktops and laptops, including but not limited to Operating System standard, software packaging, automations, patch management, compliance reporting and software controls, along with Operating System configurations and restrictions.
- Provide full support for the MECM platform, including maintaining redundancy, planning, testing and maintenance of the enterprise desktop and laptops environment and MECM platform.
- This role will interface with multiple IT stakeholders, including IT Security, AD teams and others.
- Be responsible for providing a reliable, effective, efficient and secure client-side computing environment across the enterprise.
- Manage, sustain, and provide configuration management to global managed Windows clients.
- Create, test and distribute common operating system updates, upgrades, application packages, scripts, batch programs to provide software delivery/packaging and configuration management to the computing platform environment.
- Create and sustain automated processes for software delivery/packaging, operating system deployment, and configuration management to distribute throughout enterprise SCCM hierarchy.
- Automation of processes around MECM, Management of MECM Software Center.
- Metrics/KPIs analysis and development.
- Automations maintenance and development.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing MECM infrastructure and management.
- Experience in Enterprise environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies and operating system management.
- Good scripting skills, including but not limited to PowerShell and VBScript.
- Deep understanding of Windows 10 settings, configurations and updates, Windows 11 knowledge is a benefit.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in SQL, and working with REST API.
- Desktop and Laptop computer hardware and CFI.
- Azure Active Directory, InTune and AutoPilot experience will be an added benefit.

I would never suggest Seagate to anyone. High corruption in contract workers. Contractors are doing double jobs and internal employees gets pressurized to finish contractors work. When highlighting. Managers takings cuts from those "moonlighters".
Best place to work for Moonlighters. Moonlights don't need to work, just give some % cut and enjoy the rest of life.
