Assistant Manager- Accounts

• Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager -Accounts
• Location: Govandi
• Job Profile

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Handling banking related activities.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GST, TDS, Income tax.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Preparation of details of income tax assessment

Scrutiny of accounts payable/ receivables, general ledgers etc.

Ensure timely closure of Open Jobs.

Support in annual GST Audit, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Education: Graduation in Commerce (B. Com), Inter CA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably working experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry like J.M. Bakshi, Goodrich Logistics Pvt. Ltd. etc.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of TDS and GST laws, compliance, and filing procedures.
• Expertise in accounting software mainly EBMS, Logisys.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS office (Word & Excel)
