Job Description
Responsibilities
- Statutory accounts, audit and tax for several international entities - including preparation, review and finalisation
- Month and quarter-end close
- Coordinate the activities of auditors and third-party service providers
- Build relationships with GL team, Tax, Operations, Legal
- Assist in the testing and development of accounting system functionality
- VAT return preparation, review and reconciliation
Key Competencies
- Team player who creates and maintains effective working relationships
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance
- Capacity to contribute to the development of a fast-growing department
- Continually seeks to improve work processes and find ideas for more effective working
- Capacity to learn new concepts and technology quickly
Requirements
- Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA
- Minimum of 3+ years PQE
- Shared Services Centre experience advantageous, preferably in a complex global accounting environment
- Experience in preparing international Financial Statements
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
