Accountant / Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Knowledge of GST and Income Tax (from preparation to submission)
2. Timely preparation and finalizing of GST returns
3. Monthly Profit and Loss Statement
4. ROC compliances
5. Registration of companies and procedures
6. ESI, PF, Professional tax and shop act compliances
7. Complete taxation work including Audits like Tax Audits, Statutory Audits, etc. and accounting
8. Maintenance of books
9. Attending Scrutiny, hearings and appeals related to GST, Income tax and other tax matters
10. Audit of all vouchers every month w.r.t. categorisation of invoice files, purchase files, tax acknowledgement

Preferred candidate profile

1. Basic understanding of relevant tax (IT Act, GST Act and Companies Act/ Accounting concepts
2. Preparation of Tax Returns/Book keeping and related services
3. Validate data and analyze for accuracy and relevance
4. Keep up-to-date with tax technical / technology developments
5. Produce quality work which adheres to the relevant professional standards
6. Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information provided by clients

General

1. Good communication skills
2. Basic knowledge of MS/Google/Adobe enterprise solutions
3. Adept in understanding and using IT environment and tools available
4. Share and collaborate effectively with others, create a positive team spirit
5. Working towards individual goals set and being comfortable with target/deadline-based working

Freshers will be taken as trainees and stipend will be paid during training as applicable at the time of joining may differ depending on qualification and knowledge
