Scrum Master (10-12 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with over 10 years of experience to lead and guide our agile teams in Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, be an excellent communicator, and have the ability to foster a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the team adheres to Agile practices, facilitating meetings, and supporting the Product Owner in managing the backlog.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.

- Coach team members on Agile practices, ensuring a clear understanding of Scrum principles.

- Remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.

- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog.

- Monitor and report on project progress, including metrics to stakeholders.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability.

- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across teams.

- Provide guidance and support in scaling Agile practices across the organization.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.

- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Experience in coaching teams and driving Agile transformations.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

- Experience in software development and understanding of technical concepts.

- Knowledge of other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean) is a plus.
