Role & responsibilities

• Review and provide legal advice on MOUs, Contracts and tender documents.
• Familiarizing with the specific criminal statutes that pertain to crimes related to land disputes, such as fraud, violence, or trespass.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken
• Address and resolve any disputes that arise during the land acquisition process, including conflicts over the lands value, boundaries, or title.
• Handle disputes related to boundaries, inheritance, title defects, or claims by third parties.
• Review and advise management on legal implications of policies and procedures
• Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in

compliance with all statutory or legal requirements in the countries where we work.

• Advising clients about their rights related to land disputes, and the criminal implications of actions such as illegal land occupation or fraud.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate B.A. / B.Com. + LLB
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate post LLB qualification
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with laws dealing with Criminal/ Civil/ land related issues
