Sclera - Cloud Development Lead - iAM/Okta (5-7 yrs)

About the job :

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead with expertise in AWS and identity management, including Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions like Keycloak, Okta etc.

This role is responsible for overseeing cloud application development, managing SSO and IAM services, and ensuring seamless coordination of code and deployment processes within AWS.

As the Cloud Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in establishing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that support the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Application Development :

- Lead development efforts for cloud-based applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability within AWS.

SSO and Access Management :

- Administer and manage SSO solutions for secure identity and access management across applications, implementing user roles, authentication, and integration as needed.

AWS Coordination :

- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to manage and optimize AWS resources, ensuring alignment with best practices and cost-effective architecture.

CI/CD Pipeline Management :

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment, version control, and testing workflows.

Cloud Security and Compliance :

- Enforce security and compliance measures for cloud infrastructure and IAM, aligning with industry standards and organizational policies.

Code and Development Oversight :

- Supervise and coordinate code reviews, best practices, and standards for cloud-based development projects.

Collaboration and Mentorship :

- Work alongside other developers to mentor, set standards, and introduce best practices for cloud-based development.

Team Management :

- Build and manage the robust development team.

Qualifications : Education: B.E/MSC/MTech/MCA in computer science, Information Technology, Information Science or a related field.

Experience :

- 5+ years in Development with 2+ years in a lead position.

Programming :

- Strong expertise in Java (or a relevant language such as Python or Golang) for cloud-based development.

Certifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Java Programmer, or similar cloud and language-related certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

Java Development :

- Extensive experience with Java and Maven for backend development, especially in cloud environments.

Application Security :

- Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, RBAC

Cloud Security :

- IAM, secure authentication with Keycloak or Okta

Database :

- MySQL, AWS RDS, SQL

Frameworks :

- Spring, Hibernate, JUnit

Development Tools :

- Proficiency with IntelliJ or similar IDEs, with strong skills in debugging, refactoring, and code optimization.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices architecture.

Monitoring and Logging :

- Understanding of monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Grafana for tracking performance, availability, and troubleshooting.
