Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
• Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, mobile and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test progress and defect status.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Proficient with Defect Management tools such as JIRA/ Bugzilla.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)is a plus
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
