Job Title : Senior Frontend Engineer (PixieJS, React Native, Android)

Location : Bangalore

Role Overview :

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive, high-quality frontend applications. Your role will involve using PixieJS for 2D graphics rendering,\ implementing mobile features with React Native, and collaborating on some Android-specific functionality. You will work closely with design and backend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-performance frontend applications using PixieJS, React Native, and Android technologies.

- Build visually engaging 2D web and mobile user interfaces with PixieJS.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for React Native applications targeting both iOS and Android.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into interactive, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for web and mobile platforms.

- Implement cross-platform mobile features using React Native and integrate them with backend APIs.

- Ensure applications are responsive, performant, and compatible across various devices and browsers.

- Stay updated with industry best practices, new tools, and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.

- Experience with PixieJS is a plus, including creating interactive 2D graphics and animations.

- Proficiency in React Native for building mobile applications for iOS and Android.

- Experience with Android development using Java/Kotlin or familiarity with Android SDK.

- Deep understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Redux or other state management libraries in React Native.

- Knowledge of integrating third-party libraries and APIs in mobile applications.

- Familiarity with build tools such as Expo or Metro bundler.

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.

- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Firebase
