Project: CBS Caldera

Core Banking System

(CBS) is the central software platform used by banks to manage and streamline their daily operations and transactions. It integrates various banking functions such as account management, loans, deposits, payments, and customer relationship management into a single, cohesive system. Sber is planning to introduce a state-of-the-art Core Banking System (CBS) created specifically for the Indian market. This strategic initiative aims to enhance the banking experience for Indian customers and clients by leveraging advanced technology.

Requirements:

• Understanding the software life cycle, defects
• Experience with documentation (requirements, specifications, etc.)
• Web application testing experience
• Experience with test model
• Experience with bug tracking systems and test documentation systems (Jira, HP ALM)
• Ability to localize and describe found defects
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Experience with JSON, XML
• Experience with the developer console in the browser
• Experience in REST API testing (additional plus experience with CURL)
• Ability to work in a team (propose and discuss ideas, argue your position);
• Focus on improving the quality of testing, self-learning, initiative, ability and desire to work in a team.
• Contribute to the development of the project;
• Constantly learn and improve;

What will need to be done:

Conducting functional, regression and integration testing
Test model maintenance
Identification and registration of defects
Preparation of protocols based on test results
Work in an agile/scrum methodology in close collaboration with the rest of the team
Meet the deadlines agreed upon and accepted by you

Desired previous experience:

Experience in testing at least 4 years
Experience with agile/scrum methodology would be a plus

A big plus would be:

Knowledge of Russian language
