The Sr. Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Client's Accounting, AP & Compliance functions on a day-to-day basis. This role involves a review of accounting, Preparation & Review of monthly MIS, GST & TDS Returns, Preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, Team management, and resolving team / client queries.

Industry and Clients handled - The candidate must have experience in COST PLUS COMPANIES, registered under Non STPI are from an IT or ITES industry supporting its Parent company, and has a R&D, S&M , G&A Support service in India. The Candidate has experience in preparing Financial Statements related to IGAAP and has strong knowledge in GST and TDS sections.

• Daily Accounting Operations:
• Overseeing all daily AP & Accounting operations.
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.

• Team Management:
• Supervising, training, and mentoring accounting staff.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring the team is motivated and achieving their targets.
• Team is able to independently complete the daily operations and need help only for technical ascpects.

• Management Information System (MIS) Preparation:
• Preparing and presenting monthly MIS reports.
• Analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.

• Preparation of IGAAP Financial Statements:
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IGAAP).
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinating with auditors for financial audits.
• Has worked on preparation of Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing
• Preparation of ICFR for applicable clients.

• Compliance with GST and TDS Regulations:
• Ensuring compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations.
• Preparing and filing GST and TDS returns.
• Staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Client Queries and Communication:
• Handling client queries related to accounting and financial matters.
• Providing exceptional client service and maintaining good client relationships.
• Ensuring clear and professional communication in English.

• Team Building and Motivation:
• Fostering a positive work environment and team culture.
• Organizing team-building activities and initiatives.
• Encouraging collaboration and teamwork within the accounting team.

• Use of Technology and Cost Saving
• The candidate is able to suggest recommend tools which will enable in saving time and cost
• Automation of manual tasks
• use of AI to held in eradicating manual tasks.
