We are hiring experienced Certified Dental coder.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Accounts for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complications.
• Analyses medical records and identifies documentation deficiencies and pend the report, if required query the provider and get resolutions.
• Research and analyses data required for reimbursement to ensure first time right.
• Follow the allocation provided and submit the day end status to the supervisor accurately.
• Take feedback from auditors and supervisors positively and implement it in the day-to-day job.
• Should meet SLA targets consistently and be flexible to accommodate client/project requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Company policy.

Required Skills:

• Holds CPC / Coding certifications approved by AAPC or AHIMA
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in dental coding
• Sound knowledge in CDT, CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codebooks
• Dental specialties, Anatomy, and Terminology
• Overview of ICD-10-CM
• Neoplasms, Digestive, and Z-codes
• CPT, HCPCS Level II, and Modifiers
• Knowledge on CDT by section
• Billing and Revenue Cycle
• Claim Forms
• Cross Coding
• Sleep Apnea, TMJ, Tissue Abnormalities, Third Molar Extractions
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Basic of MS office
