System Administrator

Job Descripton:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure.

Major Responsibilities:

• Desktop Support: Provide comprehensive support for desktop hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
• System Maintenance: Oversee WSUS updates, manage file services, and perform routine system maintenance.
• Antivirus and Security: Troubleshoot and resolve antivirus issues, manage security updates, and handle access and file services management.
• Asset Management: Maintain and update asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of hardware and software.
• Network Configuration: Manage and configure network printers, FTP clients, and proxy servers; resolve basic network connectivity issues related to desktops.
• System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, analyze server logs, and address potential issues.
• Remote Administration: Configure and support remote administration tools (e.g., VNC, TeamViewer).
• Business Support: Provide responsive support to business units to ensure smooth IT operations and address user needs.
• Configuration Management: Configure and manage desktop and server systems, ensuring they align with organizational standards and best practices.
• Incident Response: Manage and resolve system incidents in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
• Compliance: Ensure systems comply with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Certifications: MCSE Core Infrastructure (mandatory); additional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ITIL are a plus.

Experience: 4-6 years of total IT experience, with at least 2 years in a System Administrator role or equivalent.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Windows Server (2016 and later versions).
• Basic knowledge of network devices (e.g., switches, routers) and network configurations.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (incident and change management).
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT support tools.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
